Creative Expertise for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses
New Thinking, Promoting the New: We take our own words to heart. If you’re one of those people who don’t just wait for the future but actively help shape it, count on us.
Creativity drives innovation. That’s why, as part of the special call for proposals “Ideen!Reich,” we’re looking for forward-thinking development projects that specifically integrate expertise from the creative industries into innovation and development processes. Funding is available, for example, for the development of prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs), product and industrial design, sustainable and digital business models, interface and interaction design for innovative software solutions, as well as projects in the fields of gamification and extended reality.

How much funding is available?
The funding covers 70% of eligible project costs—with a maximum of 20,000 euros in eligible costs, that amounts to up to 14,000 euros in funding.
We award grants under the Ideen!Reich initiative on a cut-off basis. This means that you must submit your projects by specific dates—known as cut-off dates. We then set a deadline (cut-off), review all projects submitted by that point, and evaluate them—we support the best ones.
The cut-off dates for the special call for proposals on the transfer of creative know-how to SMEs are September 15 and October 15, 2026.
