The SFG's regional business development team works to boost economic strength and value creation throughout Styria. Dedicated business development advisers assigned to each of the seven regions in Styria provide hands-on support to SMEs – especially during the early stages of their projects.

To support this, the Department of Economic Affairs initiated the Regional Business Development Team to:

act as a first point of contact for customers to facilitate access to support systems at regional, federal and EU level;
enable connections with innovation ecosystems and relevant networks including the Enterprise Europe Network;
foster growth in Styria by providing constructive feedback on project concepts and business plans (including Horizon Europe EIC Accelerator).

This not only increases local value creation but also generates high-quality jobs.
