Awareness-raising in cooperation with the WKO

Styria is founding! The start-up service and the Young Economy of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO) work together intensively to create impulses and platforms that provide contacts and support for young enterprises. The catalogue of measures includes events and seminars in all regions of the province, the EPU Success Day for one-person enterprises, roadshows and much more.

The ESA BIC Austria

supports start-ups for up to two years with grants of up to 50,000 euros, technical support, jobs and global network access. The locations in Graz (Stremayergasse 16) and Vienna accept up to ten start-ups per year.

The AplusB start-up centres Science Park Graz and accent Gründerservice are responsible – two players with an outstanding track record in incubating high-tech companies.

The KAIT - Kapfenberg Accelerator for IT

is a virtual start-up centre at the FH Joanneum at the Institute for Internet Technology and Applications. It is aimed at regional students and founders in the IT sector. Services include consulting and coaching, advice on funding and financing as well as infrastructure (Streaming Lab, Smart Lab including Cyber-Security Lab, library etc.). So far there have been ten company projects.
