Working at the SFG
What is it like to work at SFG? We take pride in doing work that makes a difference in our region; we are customer- and quality-focused, and we treat each other and our clients with respect.
Strength comes from having strengths.
- Work of Regional Significance
The Styrian Economic Development Agency (SFG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the State of Styria and operates on behalf of Willibald Ehrenhöfer, State Minister for Economic Affairs. Every day, our employees roll up their sleeves and get to work for the region’s business community and for the approximately 70,000 small and large companies in Styria. If you want to make a difference, you’d be wise to explore every possibility. We approach new ideas and suggestions—whether they come from within or outside the organization—with curiosity and an open mind. We don’t try to please everyone; instead, we prefer to make a difference. We have values, but no price tag. We’d rather make a social impact than provide interchangeable services. We want to create real meaning and added value for the local economy—to be useful, dynamic, and bold. - Customer- and Quality-Oriented
Customer and service orientation are a way of life for us. And because we manage public funds, our work is characterized by great diligence and transparency. - Appreciative
We work in an open, collegial environment and place great value on opportunities for personal development. This is also linked to an actively cultivated culture of continuing education within the company. Whether customer or employee: it is important to us to treat everyone with equal respect and professionalism. Because we’re all working together toward a common goal.
