Financing for SMEs: Working Together to Build Resilience
Across the finish line!
There are situations where you’re just one or two steps away from the finish line. Does that sound familiar? A product is almost finished—all that’s left is the finishing touches. The machinery is state-of-the-art, if only there weren’t that one machine missing. If only the sales team had one more energetic employee or one more dedicated team member, revenue would increase significantly. Implementation often falls through due to a lack of financing for SMEs—traditional financing channels fail or aren’t enough. Do what dozens of local businesses have done before you: Bring the SFG on board as a silent partner for your project. The SFG is already involved with over 30 companies in Styria across many industries and regions. What is a silent partnership? Read more details about silent partnerships here.
Still waters run deep
The key points of our financing for SMEs at a glance: SFG can contribute up to 250,000 euros as a silent partnership. Repayment is made according to an agreed repayment schedule. The company’s ownership structure remains unchanged. And very importantly: A silent partnership is considered economic equity, thereby improving creditworthiness and providing greater flexibility for additional financing. In addition, we support you in strategic decisions and business management matters.
What does this cost you? SFG receives a fixed profit share of 2.5 percent per annum. In the event of a positive annual result, an additional profit share of 1 percent per annum is added. The investment is granted on a de minimis basis. Aid granted under the de minimis regulation is aid that, under certain conditions, is not subject to the notification procedure with the European Commission, as the amount threshold ensures that neither competition nor trade between Member States is affected. And what do we expect from you and your company? A stable financial situation, a clear business strategy, and sufficient technical and business expertise. Pick up the phone—we’d be happy to sit down with you.
