DESCRIPTION;CHARSET=UTF-8:Digital Transformation at Work\nThe term "Work 4.
0" has long been used (based on "Industry 4.0") to summarize the process o
f change in the world of work in the digital age. Working methods lived to
day are changing more and more to adapt to the challenges and opportunitie
s of the digital world.\n\n\nDigital Transformation at Work\n\n09.09.2020
 15:00 &#8211\; 17:00 | Language: English\n\n\nTarget Group:\nC-Level\, man
agers and experts who are interested in problems and current solutions for
learning and working together. This time the focus is on distributed team
s and organizations (for example in the home office).\nAbstract:\nThe term
&#8222\;Work 4.0&#8220\; has long been used (based on &#8222\;Industry 4.
0&#8220\;) to summarize the process of change in the world of work in the
digital age. Working methods lived today are changing more and more to ada
pt to the challenges and opportunities of the digital world.\nCompanies an
d their employees can work more and more flexibly and independently of whe
re they are located. Thanks to e-mails\, chats and home office\, they can
be reached quickly and networked with each other.\nDue to the current situ
ation\, home office is not only coming to the fore for a few professions a
nd fields of activity\, but is explicitly recommended for all areas.\nHowe
ver\, working together\, yet distributed with each other\, poses elementar
y challenges to both the organization and its employees. Many of these are
still not adequately solved\, because successful cooperation is more than
just the simple provision of\, for example\, intranets and network drives
\, and also requires completely new skills (and associated lifelong learni
ng)\, which must now of course also be trained and consolidated at home.\n
The topic of this lecture is therefore to first give a design and socio-te
chnical perspective on the ongoing digital transformation\; and to discuss
proposals for solutions from research and practice in the area of joint l
 earning and working\, such as\n\n\n\nCompany-wide knowledge cycle\n\n\n\n\
n\n\nArtifical / Assistive Intelligence to support current processes and d
ecisions\n\n\n\nAfter the event you will know:\n\n\n\nRelevant problems wi
th regard to distributed collaborative working and learning in companies\n
\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Know-Center Knowledge Cycle for the company-wide use of in
formation along the entire value chain\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPossibilities for supp
orting current processes and decisions through Artifical / Assistive Intel
ligence including their potentials and limitations\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUsing the
example of document-centered process support\, for example\, in the submis
sion of offers (&#8222\;Request for Quotation&#8220\;)\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSelect
ed research results on the digital transformation in the workplace\n\n\n\n
